Add a new compatible for J721e to support the additional modes.
In TI's J721e, each of the CPSW9G ethernet interfaces can act as a
QSGMII main or QSGMII-SUB port. The QSGMII main interface is responsible
for performing auto-negotiation between the MAC and the PHY while the rest
of the interfaces are designated as QSGMII-SUB interfaces, indicating that
they will not be taking part in the auto-negotiation process.

The number of QSGMII main ports are specific to the device. TI's J7200 for
which the QSGMII main port property is fetched from the device-tree has
only one QSGMII main port. However, devices like TI's J721e support up to
two QSGMII main ports. Thus, the existing methods for fetching and using
the QSGMII main port are not scalable.
Update the existing methods for handling the QSGMII main ports and its
associated requirements to make it scalable for future devices.

Each of the CPSW5G ports in J7200 support additional modes like QSGMII.
Add a new compatible for J7200 to support the additional modes.
In TI's J7200, each of the CPSW5G ethernet interfaces can act as a
QSGMII or QSGMII-SUB port. The QSGMII interface is responsible for
performing auto-negotiation between the MAC and the PHY while the rest of
the interfaces are designated as QSGMII-SUB interfaces, indicating that
they will not be taking part in the auto-negotiation process.
To indicate the interface which will serve as the main QSGMII interface,
add a property "ti,qsgmii-main-ports", whose value indicates the
port number of the interface which shall serve as the main QSGMII
interface. The rest of the interfaces are then assigned QSGMII-SUB mode by
default. The property "ti,qsgmii-main-ports" is used to configure the
CTRLMMR_ENETx_CTRL register.
Depending on the device, it is possible for more than one QSGMII main port
to exist. Thus, the property "ti,qsgmii-main-ports" is defined as an array
of values in order to reuse the property for other devices.

For J7200-SR2.0 and AM64 we don't model Common refclock divider as
a clock divider as the divisor rate is fixed based on operating
reference clock frequency. We just program the recommended value
into the register. This simplifies the device tree and implementation
a lot.

may timeout:

which effectively fails the probe of the USB controller.
Drop the check as it was before the culprit commit (see Fixes tag).

Some Android x86 tablets with a Bay Trail (BYT) SoC and a Crystal Cove
PMIC, which does not support charger-detection, rely on a TUSB1211
phy for charger-detection.
Add support for charger detection on TUSB1211 phy-s and export
the information about the detected charger through the standard
power_supply class interface. power_supply class charger IC drivers
like the bq24190_charger.c driver will then pick this up and set
their input_current_limit based on this.
Note the "linux,phy_charger_detect" property used to enable this is
a special kernel-internal (so not part of the dt-bindings) property
used by dwc3 platform code to indicate that the phy needs to do
charger-detection.

- Switch from a linear flow to a state-machine, with retries on
ulpi communication errors
- Use SW_CONTROL bit to disable the FSM when detection is finished

Now that we actually log errors on ulpi_write failures it becomes clear
that the ulpi_write() restoring the phy-parameters on power-on is failing
after a suspend/resume add a short delay after driving the cs line high
to fix this.

This driver's remove path calls cancel_delayed_work(). However, that
function does not wait until the work function finishes. This means
that the callback function may still be running after the driver's
remove function has finished, which would result in a use-after-free.
Fix by calling cancel_delayed_work_sync(), which ensures that
the work is properly cancelled, no longer running, and unable
to re-schedule itself.

Serdes lanes might be shared between multiple cores in some usecases
and its not possible to lock PLLs for both the lanes independently
by the two cores. This requires a bootloader to configure both the
lanes at early boot time.
To handle this case, skip all configuration if any of the lanes has
already been enabled.

"serdes" node (child node of WIZ) can have sub-nodes for representing links
or it can have sub-nodes for representing the various clocks within the
serdes. Instead of trying to read "reg" from every child node used for
assigning "lane_phy_type", read only if the child node's name is "phy"
or "link" subnode.
Ideally all PHY dt nodes should have node name as "phy", however
existing devicetree used "link" as subnode. So in order to maintain old
DT compatibility get PHY properties for "phy" or "link" subnode.

Invoke wiz_init() before configuring anything else in Sierra/Torrent
(invoked as part of of_platform_device_create()). wiz_init() resets the
SERDES device and any configuration done in the probe() of
Sierra/Torrent will be lost. In order to prevent SERDES configuration
from getting reset, invoke wiz_init() immediately before invoking
of_platform_device_create().

cmn_refclk_<p/m> lines in Torrent SERDES is used for connecting external
reference clock. cmn_refclk_<p/m> can also be configured to output the
reference clock. In order to drive the refclk out from the SERDES
(Cadence Torrent), PHY_EN_REFCLK should be set in SERDES_RST of WIZ.
Model PHY_EN_REFCLK as a clock, so that platforms like AM642 EVM can
enable it.

commit 091876cc35 ("phy: ti: j721e-wiz: Add support for WIZ module
present in TI J721E SoC") modeled the internal clocks depending on the
subnodes that are populated in device tree. However recent discussions
in the mailing list [1] suggested to just add #clock cells in the parent
DT node and model the clocks within the driver.
Model the mux clocks without device tree input for AM64x SoC. Don't
remove the earlier design since DT nodes for J7200 and J721e are already
upstreamed.

Both "struct wiz_clk_div_sel" and "struct wiz_clk_mux_sel" are static
data that is common for all wiz instances. Including
"struct regmap_field" for each of the wiz instances can yield undesirable
results. Move "struct regmap_field" out of "struct wiz_clk_div_sel" and
"struct wiz_clk_mux_sel" and make them point to constant data.
So far no issues are observed since both these structures are not
accessed outside the probe.

Start by reading the content of the VENDOR_SPECIFIC2 register and update
each bit field based on device properties when defined.
The use of bit masks prevents fields from overriding each other and
enables users to clear bits which are set by default, like datapolarity
in this instance.

On K3 AM654x/J721E platforms the Port MII mode selection register(s) have
similar format and placed in the System Control Module (SCM) module
sequentially as one register per port, but, depending SOC and CPSW
instance, the base offset and number of ports can be different.
Hence, add possibility to retrieve number of ports and base registers
offset from DT and support for max possible number of ports supported by K3
SoCs like J721E.

AM654x PG1.0 has a silicon bug that D+ is pulled high after POR, which
could cause enumeration failure with some USB hubs. Disabling the
USB2_PHY Charger Detect function will put D+ into the normal state.

by having a separate regfield variable for each field which
is allocated individually.
This quickly gets unwieldy once number of regfields increase.
Instead, use an array of regfields which are allocated in a

For DisplayPort use we need to set WIZ_CONFIG_LANECTL register's
P_STANDARD_MODE bits to "mode 3". In the DisplayPort use also the
P_ENABLE bits of the same register are set to P_ENABLE instead of
P_ENABLE_FORCE, so that the DisplayPort driver can enable and disable
the lane as needed. The DisplayPort mode is selected according to
"cdns,phy-type"-properties found in link subnodes under the managed
serdes (see "ti,sierra-phy-t0" and "ti,j721e-serdes-10g" devicetree
bindings for details). All other values of "cdns,phy-type"-property
but PHY_TYPE_DP will set P_STANDARD_MODE bits to 0 and P_ENABLE bits
to force enable.

The phy-gmii-sel can be only auto selected in Kconfig and now the pretty
complex Kconfig dependencies are defined for phy-gmii-sel driver, which
also need to be updated every time phy-gmii-sel is re-used for any new
networking driver.
Simplify Kconfig definition for phy-gmii-sel PHY driver - drop all
dependencies and from networking drivers and rely on using 'imply
PHY_TI_GMII_SEL' in Kconfig definitions for networking drivers instead.

TI AM654x/J721E SoCs have the same PHY interface selection mechanism for
CPSWx subsystem as TI SoCs (AM3/4/5/DRA7), but registers and bit-fields
placement is different.
This patch adds corresponding support for TI AM654x/J721E SoCs PHY
interface selection.

- under PHY_INTERFACE_MODE_MII the 'mode' func parameter is assigned
instead of 'gmii_sel_mode' and it's working only because the default value
'gmii_sel_mode' is set to 0.
- console outputs use 'rgmii_id' and 'mode' values to print PHY mode
instead of using 'submode' value which is representing PHY interface mode
now.
This patch fixes above two cases.

Based on this GPIO state we need to configure LN10
bit to swap lane0 and lane1 if required (flipped connector).
Type-C companions typically need some time after the cable is
plugged before and before they reflect the correct status of
Type-C plug orientation on the DIR line.
Type-C Spec specifies CC attachment debounce time (tCCDebounce)
of 100 ms (min) to 200 ms (max).
Use the DT property to figure out if we need to add delay
or not before sampling the Type-C DIR line.

Add support for WIZ module present in TI's J721E SoC. WIZ is a SERDES
wrapper used to configure some of the input signals to the SERDES. It is
used with both Sierra(16G) and Torrent(10G) SERDES. This driver configures
three clock selects (pll0, pll1, dig), two divider clocks and supports
resets for each of the lanes.

Now phy-gmii-sel will disable MAC TX internal delay for PHY interface mode
"rgmii-rxid" which is incorrect.
Hence, fix it by enabling MAC TX internal delay in the case of "rgmii-rxid"
mode.

drivers that thought they could use that pointer during normal operations. That

A future patch is going to change semantics of clk_register() so that
clk_hw::init is guaranteed to be NULL after a clk is registered. Avoid
referencing this member here so that we don't run into NULL pointer
exceptions.
