f00b45db02 clk: Switch back to struct platform_driver::remove()
After commit 0edb555a65 ("platform: Make platform_driver::remove()
return void") .remove() is (again) the right callback to implement for
platform drivers.

Convert all clk drivers to use .remove(), with the eventual goal to drop
struct platform_driver::remove_new(). As .remove() and .remove_new() have
the same prototypes, conversion is done by just changing the structure
member name in the driver initializer.

252c31a90e clk: hisilicon: Use devm_kcalloc() instead of devm_kzalloc()
As noted in the "Deprecated Interfaces, Language Features, Attributes,
and Conventions" documentation [1], size calculations (especially
multiplication) should not be performed in memory allocator (or similar)
function arguments due to the risk of them overflowing. This could lead
to values wrapping around and a smaller allocation being made than the
caller was expecting. Using those allocations could lead to linear
overflows of heap memory and other misbehaviors.

So, use the purpose specific devm_kcalloc() function instead of the
argument size * count in the devm_kzalloc() function.

64c6a38136 clk: hisilicon: hi3559a: Fix an erroneous devm_kfree()
'p_clk' is an array allocated just before the for loop for all clk that
need to be registered.
It is incremented at each loop iteration.

If a clk_register() call fails, 'p_clk' may point to something different
from what should be freed.

The best we can do, is to avoid this wrong release of memory.

bfbea9e566 clk: hi3620: Fix memory leak in hi3620_mmc_clk_init()
In cases where kcalloc() fails for the 'clk_data->clks' allocation, the
code path does not handle the failure gracefully, potentially leading
to a memory leak. This fix ensures proper cleanup by freeing the
allocated memory for 'clk_data' before returning.

a96cbb146a clk: Explicitly include correct DT includes
The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate
of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus.
As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they
"temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h
and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include
files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and
replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to
explicitly include the correct includes.

e81507acdc Nothing looks out of the ordinary in this batch of clk driver updates. There
are a couple patches to the core clk framework, but they're all basically

bfa8370b28 clk: hisilicon: Convert to platform remove callback returning void
The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes
many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by
returning an error code. However the value returned is (mostly) ignored
and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a
quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this
quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns
void.

Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove
callback to the void returning variant.

94511ebc68 kbuild, clk: remove MODULE_LICENSE in non-modules
Since commit 8b41fc4454 ("kbuild: create modules.builtin without
Makefile.modbuiltin or tristate.conf"), MODULE_LICENSE declarations
are used to identify modules. As a consequence, uses of the macro
in non-modules will cause modprobe to misidentify their containing
object file as a module when it is not (false positives), and modprobe
might succeed rather than failing with a suitable error message.

So remove it in the files in this commit, none of which can be built as
modules.

498cc50b3f clk: hisilicon: hi3559a: Drop __init markings everywhere
This driver is a platform driver. The probe function can be called after
kernel init, and try to reference kernel memory that has been freed.
Drop the __init markings everywhere here to avoid referencing initdata
from non-init code. Fixes modpost warnings.

those options disappear and they don't get back, leading to unexpected
behaviors. In our case, the cpufreq driver does no longer work because
the clock fails to initialize due to the clock stub and the mailbox
missing.

In order to have the dependencies correctly set when defaulting, let's
do the same as commit 3a49afb84c ("clk: enable hi655x common clk
automatically") where we select automatically the driver when the
parent driver is selected. With sensible defaults in place, we can leave
other choices for EXPERT.

ca4e7c5120 The large diff this time around is from the addition of a new clk driver
for the TI Davinci family of SoCs. So far those clks have been supported
with a custom implementation of the clk API in the arch port instead of in
the CCF. With this driver merged we're one step closer to having a single
 clk API implementation.

The other large diff is from the Amlogic clk driver that underwent some
major surgery to use regmap. Beyond that, the biggest hitter is Samsung
which needed some reworks to properly handle clk provider power domains
and a bunch of PLL rate updates.

set of driver non-critical fixes, cleanups, and minor additions are here as
