Flynn Marquardt found out that there is problem with the new dib3000mc-driver
when using with the real dib3000mc. It resulted in a segfault.
Fixed two things: use the correct I2C address and do not attach a tuner, when
the demod was previously failing.

A complete rewrite of the DiB3000MC/P driver has been done. It is now much more
easy to maintain and to get improvements inside.
Additionally the tuning time has been reduced and the usage of the driver is
much more understandable now.

Ok, here is the working patch for the Freecom DVB-T stick with USB-ID
14aa:0225.
It uses the Firmware-file, wich Erich Focht created and wich can be obtainded
from http://home.arcor.de/efocht/dvb-usb-wt220u-fc03.fw
Also the original patch is from Erich. It adds the proper USB-IDs and I only
had to change the endpoint of the MPEG-2 data-transfer to 0x86.

The dvb_frontend_ops is a pointer inside dvb_frontend. That's why every demod-driver
is having a field of dvb_frontend_ops in its private-state-struct and
using the reference for filling the pointer-field in dvb_frontend.
- It saves at least two lines of code per demod-driver,
- reduces object size (one less dereference per frontend_ops-access),
- be coherent with dvb_tuner_ops,
- makes it a little bit easier for newbies to understand how it works and
- avoids stupid mistakes because you would have to copy the dvb_frontend_ops
always, before you could assign the static pointer directly, which was
dangerous.

This is a patch which includes support for the GENPIX 8PSK->USB module. The
board supports QPSK, BPSK and 8PSK decoding (though I don't think it will be
DVB-S2 compliant) With the following patch, the boad is equivalent to a budget
card (no CA Module)
The patch which adds 8psk suppot will follow, but is seperate, as it requires
DVB-S2 support
More info on the board can be found at www.genpix-electronics.com (and they
host the requisite firmwares there as well)

Currently in /sys/class/dvb/dvbX.demuxY/ we have:
dev
uevent
With the patch, we have (for a PCI DVB device):
dev
device -> ../../../devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1e.0/0000:03:0d.0
uevent
So userspace tools can (finally) work out which physical device a DVB adapter
refers to. Previously you had to kinda look through dmesg and hope that it
hadn't been dumped out of the buffer. This makes debugging a lot easier if
the system has been up for a long time!
This is done by adding an extra 'struct device *' parameter to
dvb_register_adapter(). It will work with any kind of standard
linux 'device'. Additionally, if someone has an embedded system which does
things differently, they can simply supply 'NULL' and the behaviour will be
as before - the link will simply not appear.

This patch prevents a bug where the frontend is unable to tune after waking
from powered down state. Now, the device remains powered on until it is
disconnected, just like the windows driver. It seems that the bluebird
firmware is unable to successfully handle tuning after a powered down state.
This patch fixes all of the FusionHDTV Bluebird USB2 devices. The Medion
MD95700 will still behave as before, since it was unaffected by this bug.

/* FIXME: are we allowed to change the fw-data ? */
Yes, we are allowed. DViCO's Windows driver also does the same thing.
A single firmware image is used to support all of the bluebird boxes.
The firmware sets all devices to PID: d700. Instead of using that, the
driver replaces the d700 with the cold PID+1 before the download.
